...but I'm fuzzy on a few things. I s'pose the most important thing is I don't know how to link maps so that when you finish a level you go to the next one I'd intend. Any suggestions?

Which editor do you use?

Hey, it's great to hear someone is working on a Hexen 2 SP map. I just love HExen 2, and I can't understand why there aren't any SP games to play, when it seems that practically all other games have great levels - look at Dark Forces, Jedi KNight, Unreal, Quake, Quake 2, etc. Hope you make a good level!

Use the "trigger_changelevel" entity to change levels. The map flag tells it what map to load, omit the .bsp when typing the name. EX: if you want it to load estate.bsp just type in "estate". next you have to have a target field which tells it to take the player to the right player_start in the new level with the matching name. For example: if the target is "cath1" then when the new map loads the player will start at the player_start with the name of "cath1". This is a must for hubs or else the player will be starting at the wrong spots. If this is confusing you can ICQ me at 19228369.
